Dr. Cymbala is very knowledgeable and passionate about the material, but that means that she talks lots. She will make taking notes easy by giving weekly handouts with the artworks she wants you to know. It's then easy to study them if you make them into flashcards. I never even used the book. If you do need it though, there is one on reserve at the library.
