Professor Akimov's lectures aren't all that helpful for solving practice exams. However, it helps a lot with getting overall concepts. Also, he's a really nice guy in office hours and helped with anything I was confused about. I will say that the recitation was the only reason I ended up getting an A in the course. And don't forget to get the book. I highly recommend you to take his class.
