This class is the personification of an Easy A. She doesn't take attendance and will often cancel class. Half the time is her lecturing and the other half is watching documentaries. She is really nice and there are only four papers. This class is not at all difficult.

Poor

Prof. Adella was pretty helpful and she keeps her office hours open! However, she likes to talk a lot and you can't get a lot of work done in class! It took a month for her to grade our first essay! She actually gave us the rubric after we turned it in! I really didn't feel like I learned anything!! It was an easy a though!

Prof. Adella is pretty sweet, but she has a lot of lapses. She's always late, and she frequently misses class. Her paper is about the American dream and poverty, so if you don't like such topics, don't enroll in the class. We had three papers, but she only entered one in the grade book, thus it was a waste of time, especially since she has extensive lectures. It was an easy A though.

Professor Irizarry is very good at reminding the class of what is due. However, it took a long time for her to grade the papers. Also, she always shows up late for class and cancels a lot of classes. I do not recommend taking this class.

I originally enrolled without intending to have Professor Irizarry, but there was a last-minute switch before the class started. Unfortunately, she tends to go off on tangents during lectures. Also, her online syllabus is not consistently updated, leading me to purchase the wrong textbook. Additionally, the grading process for papers is quite slow. It took a month to receive feedback on our first paper, and I disagreed with the comments. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this professor.
