Awesome

Doctor Duerfelt is one of the best Chemistry teachers at the University of Oklahoma. He gives you a lot of homework you can do to help your grade other than exams. There were weekly completion problem sets and four group assignments before exams. Your lowest exam is canceled, and you can get extra credit for each exam too. Also, there's a bonus extra credit project which is 5%.

Poor

Professor Duerfeldt is a very arrogant one. Since the online transition, he offered very little communication. I tried to contact him and his teaching assistant several times and got nothing back. His lectures are relatively simple, but if you don't use external resources, you will fail. Khan Academy is your best friend. Also, the final exams were very hard.

and synthetic chemistry to address the pitfalls of Heat Shock Protein 90kDa (Hsp90) inhibition.\n\nUtilized structure-based drug discovery (SBDD) to develop novel small molecule inhibitors of Hsp90. This approach led to the development of the first disclosed isoform selective inhibitors of Glucose-regulated Protein 94kDa (Grp94

gp96). This research has resulted in 7 publications and 1 U.S. issued patent.\n\nPh.D. thesis title: A New Generation of Hsp90 Inhibitors: Addressing Isoform Selectivity and Heat Shock Induction.
